The Charitable Foundation of the Islands (CFI) Announces Lake Michigan Credit Union and Rachel Pierce Art Gallery to join Pfeifer Realty Group and Sanibel Captiva Trust Company as Sponsors of the 2025 Volunteer Expo.
“We are so proud to sponsor the grants that will be distributed to six randomly selected organizations throughout the evening at the Expo”. Said Kathy Stefanski, Lake Michigan Credit Union, Fort Myers Branch Manager. “Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) is proud to support the work of CFI and their collaboration with non-profit organizations on the Islands. We are so excited to help support this event which serves to connect residents with meaningful ways they can support the local non-profits with their time, talents, and treasure”
CFI is thrilled to have LMCU as a sponsor for the Expo, particularly for their generous support of $6,000 for the grants that will be raffled and awarded to six organizations at the event. This sponsorship adds an exciting element to the Expo and perfectly aligns with LMCU’s mission to be a catalyst for positive change and growth in the communities they serve.
“CFI is beyond grateful to have LMCU as a sponsor for the 2025 Volunteer Expo”. Said Dolly Farrell, CFI Executive Director. “The purpose of hosting the Volunteer Expo is to encourage new and seasoned community members to get involved and learn more about the organizations and community groups that support our Islands. With LMCU’s sponsorship, CFI will be able to present grants to six organizations during the event. This will fill the room with excitement and the powerful feeling of giving back”
Rachel Pierce Art Gallery will be sponsoring an interactive Photo Booth at the Expo. This will allow attendees to grab a prop and have some fun!
“I’m thrilled to sponsor the Expo and support CFI," said Rachel Pierce, Owner of Rachel Pierce Art Gallery, Home by Rachel Pierce, Pierce’s Paw Paradise, and CFI Board Member. "CFI does incredible work supporting the nonprofit organizations that are vital to the Islands recovery and growth. As a member of this community and board member, I’m grateful for all they do, and I believe it’s important to give back in any way I can. This event is the perfect way to bring people together and help strengthen the organizations that make such a difference in our lives."
"Rachel is the ideal sponsor for the Expo because she truly embodies the spirit of community”. Said Farrell “Along with her husband Matthew, Rachel has brought immense positive energy to the Island, especially during challenging times. After the recent hurricanes, despite numerous setbacks, Rachel and her family remained dedicated, working tirelessly to rebuild both their businesses and the community. Their determination is a testament to their commitment to the Islands. The Volunteer Expo is another opportunity for the community to unite and support the organizations that are the backbone of our Islands."
